Our Story

NeoVista Development is founded by JT Ibe—a first-generation American, former NFL athlete, and the son of Nigerian immigrants—with a vision to build a company that creates lasting impact through land development.

His father, trained as an architect, was never able to fully pursue his profession after immigrating to the United States due to language barriers. That quiet sacrifice became part of JT’s foundation. Years later, the birth of his son Neo sparked a deeper purpose: to build something that would outlive him. NeoVista—meaning new view—is a reflection of that mission: to see land, people, and opportunity differently.

JT’s commitment to real estate development is rooted not just in business, but in service. After multiple visits to Nigeria, he is consistently struck by the lack of safe, affordable housing—and the absence of meaningful solutions. NeoVista’s long-term vision extends far beyond the U.S., with a focus on creating sustainable housing in underserved regions, beginning with the country his family calls home.

Today, NeoVista acquires land, manages the entitlement and horizontal development process, and prepares sites for homebuilders to deliver high-quality communities. The company operates with a partner-first mindset, treating landowners with transparency, consistency, and respect.

  • Founder & Principal

    JT is responsible for NeoVista’s land acquisition, disposition, and day-to-day operations. Prior to founding NeoVista, he served as an Account Executive in the SaaS and cybersecurity sectors, where he closed over $4 million in transactions with Fortune 2000 companies and built a track record of aligning complex, multi-stakeholder solutions with long-term business goals.

    Prior to his business career, JT played professional football in the NFL. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina, earning Academic Honor Roll in all five years as a student-athlete.

    He lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife and son and draws long-term inspiration from his Nigerian heritage, with a vision to expand sustainable housing solutions globally.
